Don is a Michigan native and has spent his life and career in Oakland and Macomb counties and specializes in these areas. He is a proud graduate of Center Line High School (summa cum laude) and Oakland University (cum laude) where he had the distinct privilege to write and deliver the undergraduate address for the Class of 2000 commencement.
Before joining Real Estate One, Don had a successful career in music education as a band director. He developed a reputation for high-level student achievement, outstanding professionalism and service, and strong leadership among colleagues and peers at the district and state level. He led his students in countless festivals, parades, and other performances all over the world.
Don is a vintage and analog hi-fi enthusiast and a strong supporter of live music. You will see him at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Michigan Opera Theater, and the Detroit Jazz Festival as well as numerous local venues.
Don continues to perform on saxophone with local groups and small ensembles when the opportunities arise.
