If walls could talk in this 3-story historic building they would tell us stories for days. Built in the 1840s it was originally used as a beer garden, later turned into the Mineral Spring Hotel because of the purported healing water occurring within the basement. The hotel was also used as a temporary hospital in the Wabash train crash as well as the fall of the grand stands at the Lenawee County Fair Grounds. The building was used as a hotel until 1903, then sold and turned into the Citizen's Light and Power company until 1941.
