Avery started in real estate in 2003, identifying & analyzing residential investment properties as co-founder of Metro Property Wholesalers, LLC, working with investors from Michigan and other states seeking income property in the city of Detroit.  With this initial experience, she was hired to liquidate a portfolio of properties for SIGMA Financial Corporation, as well as a private investor portfolio, selling them in bulk packages.

As the market faced its worst downturn in history, Avery switched gears to concentrate on bank owned properties, focusing on short sales in the state of Michigan for nearly five years, utilizing local and national lenders.  During this time, she created an online lead generation system and short sale processing system to obtain and serve clients. 

When the market began to recover, Avery relocated to Central Florida, where she opened her own real estate brokerage.  This business specialized in identifying investment properties as well as listing residential, luxury and waterfront parcels.  She then expanded her scope, partnering with a commercial firm with over forty years of combined experience in sales, land development and construction management.  This expertise included selection and analysis of sites, assemblage of parcels, negotiating contracts, obtaining zoning and permitting and acquiring financing, in addition to collecting data used in design and construction.

Avery is also in a unique position as Founder and CEO of LifeKnight, LLC, a software startup, allowing her to understand and work with a variety of clients including early stage startups, smaller companies and established, existing businesses.  She brings high interest and enthusiasm to each project and treats each transaction as if it were her own.
